I've missed taking photos for fun, and the light lately has been perfect for photos that don't need any fussing in Photoshop, which are my favorite kind.



This makes me feel like an advertiser, but seriously... gadgets that work score reeeeally high in my book. My brother got me this cool loose-tea steeping contraption for my birthday a few years ago, but I hadn't used it till this week. You toss the leaves in, then pour in/microwave hot water. When you set it on top of your drinking vessel of choice, a valve opens and the tea strains into said vessel. It is pretty and hard to spill and makes delicious beverages, which is all I need to make me happy.

In discussing these bookmarks with people I have discovered that "compass" is yet another word for which I use non-standard pronunciation. What's up with that then eh.
